E-mobility : The Autorité sends questionnaires to main stakeholders in electric vehicle charging infrastructure sector

Background

As part of its inquiry into the electric vehical charging infrastructure sector, the Autorité de la concurrence sent out questionnaires to the main stakeholders in the sector in order to gather, by 5 June 2023, their responses on several topics related to EV charging infrastructure.

If a stakeholder has not received the questionnaire relevant to them and wishes to contribute to the inquiry, they may contact the following email address: consultationavisirve@autoritedelaconcurrence.fr.

The Autorité started proceedings ex officio to analyse the competitive operation of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure sector earlier this year, with a view to issue an opinion. A press release was published on 17 February 2023.

As announced, the Autorité sent out questionnaires to the main stakeholders in the sector, including:

  • charging operators (public and private charging stations);
  • mobility operators;
  • interoperability platforms;
  • local and regional authorities;
  • consumer groups;
  • professional groups or organisations;
  • motorway concessionary companies;
  • motorway subconcessionary companies and concessionnaires of non-concessioned road network;
  • representatives of co-owners and co-ownership managers.

The deadline for responding to the questionnaires is 5 June 2023.
