The General Rapporteur of the Autorité de la concurrence indicates that unannounced inspections
have been carried out yesterday in the sectors of engineering and technology consulting, IT services and software publishing

Following authorization from the liberty and custody judge, the Investigation Services of the Autorité de la concurrence have raided yesterday the premises of companies and organisations suspected of having engaged in possible anticompetitive practices in the sectors of engineering and technology consulting, IT services and software publishing.

Such interventions do not, of course, pre-suppose the existence of a breach of the law which could be imputed to the companies involved in the alleged practices, which only a full investigation into the merits of the case could establish, if appropriate.

The Autorité will not comment on the identity of the companies nor on the practices implemented.

The Autorité de la concurrence reiterates that it provides a leniency programme for companies and organisations which may have breached competition rules. Leniency applicants may make contact (initially informally and anonymously if needed) with the leniency officer, to obtain all pertinent information on the procedure or request an appointment to submit a leniency application by email (clemence@autoritedelaconcurrence.fr) or telephone phone (+33 1 55 04 02 00).
