Takeover of Casino stores by Intermarché, Auchan and Carrefour: the Autorité de la concurrence grants derogations from the suspensive effect of merger control

Intermarché, Auchan and Carrefour respectively notified the Autorité de la concurrence on 8 February, 27 February and 7 March 2024 of plans to acquire a total of 323 food retail stores currently operated by the Casino group, and, at the same time, requested derogations from the suspensive effect of merger control.
