“Economics and Sustainability” Workshop – Programme and registration
The Autorité de la concurrence has published the programme for its “Economics and Sustainability” workshop, to be held in Paris on Monday, 5 October 2026. Academics, practitioners and representatives of public institutions will discuss methods for valuing environmental benefits and harms and their application to competition analysis.
The Autorité hosts the launch conference for the fifth Annual Report of Stanford Computational Antitrust
On 17 September 2026, from 4.00 pm to 5.30 pm, the Autorité de la concurrence will host the launch conference for the fifth Annual Report of the Stanford Computational Antitrust project, led by Thibault Schrepel, at its premises in Paris.
A reception will follow until 6.30 pm.
The conference will be held in English, and will also be accessible on Zoom.

Joint Statement by the European Competition Network (ECN) on the implementation of merger call-in mechanisms
The European Competition Network (ECN), which brings together the competition authorities of the EU’s 27 Member States and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition, has today published a Joint Statement supporting the use of a “call-in” mechanism in merger control. The Statement recognises that such a mechanism can be an effective and appropriate tool for safeguarding competition both at national level and across the European Economic Area (EEA).
