The Autorité clears the takeover of the holding company of the Interflora group by company PAI Partners

fleurs

On 20 January 2021, PAI Partners notified the Autorité de la concurrence of its plan to acquire exclusive control of the Interflora group.

Parties to the transaction

PAI Partners is a private equity firm that owns and advises various investment funds. These funds hold companies active in a variety of industries, such as business services, food and consumer products, industrials, healthcare and retail.

The Interflora group is mainly active in the retail and delivery sector of flowers, plants and accessories, and in the wholesale of accessories for floral products.

As the transaction did not lead to any overlap of activity in the sectors in which the Interflora group is active, the Autorité de la concurrence was able to rule out any competition concerns.

The Autorité thus cleared the transaction without conditions.
