Sarah Subrémon has been appointed Deputy General Rapporteur of the Autorité de la concurrence

Sarah Subrémon has been appointed deputy General Rapporteur of the Autorité de la concurrence, as of 18 April 2017upon decision of the General Rapporteur Stanislas Martin. She will head the « Antitrust Unit 5 » in place of Eric Cuziat, who has completed both of his allowable terms. The Autorité de la concurrence would like to express its most sincere thanks for the quality of the work he delivered during these eight years.
 

 After obtaining a post-graduate degree (Diplôme d’Études Supérieures Spécialisées – DESS) in business law at university Panthéon-Assas and a Professional Lawyer’s certificate (Certificat d’aptitude à la profession d’avocat - CAPA), Sarah Subrémon started her career as a lawyer in 2001. In 2004, she joined the European Commission as Advisor of the Hearing Officers. In 2007, she then joined the Autorité de la concurrence as Advisor for European and institutional affairs within the staff of the President, before being appointed rapporteur in 2009. In June 2013, she joined the Competition Commission in London as Legal Adviser before becoming Assistant Legal Director at the Competition and Market Authority (CMA). From July 2014, she was deputy head of the legal department at the Autorité.
