A record year for the Autorité de la concurrence

At an event held yesterday, Benoît Cœuré, President of the Autorité de la concurrence, delivered his 2025 New Year’s message and took a look back at 2024.

With €1.4 billion in fines imposed and 295 mergers examined, 2024 was a historic year for the Autorité.
