Isabelle Fenayrou and Thibaud Vergé reappointed as Vice-Presidents of the Autorité de la concurrence
By decree of the President of the French Republic of 28 September 2026, published in the Journal officiel (JORF) of 29 September 2026, Isabelle Fenayrou, judge, and Thibaud Vergé, professor of economics, have been reappointed as Vice-Presidents of the Autorité de la concurrence.
Thibaud Vergé – Biography
Thibaud Vergé holds a PhD in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics and is a graduate of École Polytechnique. He has served as Vice-President of the Autorité de la concurrence since 27 December 2022. From 2020 to 2024, he was also a member of the Economic Advisory Group on Competition Policy at DG Competition. Alongside his institutional responsibilities, he holds several teaching positions, notably at ENSAE Paris.
Isabelle Fenayrou – Biography
Isabelle Fenayrou holds a Master’s degree in Private Law (DEA) from Paris II Panthéon Assas University, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from King’s College London and is a graduate of École nationale de la magistrature (French National School for the Judiciary). Prior to joining the Autorité de la concurrence in 2026, she had been President of the Economic and Financial Regulation Chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal since 2023.

As a reminder, the Board comprises 17 members with irrevocable terms. The President and the four Vice-Presidents serve on a full-time basis, while the 12 other members are non-permanent.
