Béatrice Bourgeois-Machureau appointed to the Board of the Autorité de la concurrence
By decree of the President of the French Republic dated 29 June 2020, Béatrice Bourgeois-Machureau, Senior Judge at the French Administrative Supreme Court (Conseil d’État), has been appointed to the Board of the Autorité de la concurrence as a member or former member of the French Administrative Supreme Court, the French Supreme Court (Cour de Cassation), the French Court of Auditors (Cour des comptes) or other administrative or judicial courts.
She succeeds Séverine Larère, who has been appointed legal and parliamentary adviser to the head of the French National Centre for Counter Terrorism.
The term of office of Béatrice Bourgeois-Machureau will run until 18 September 2021 (end of Séverine Larère’s term).
Education and career
After passing the agrégation in modern literature (1996), Bourgeois-Machureau graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Ulm, 1997), the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris (1997) and the Ecole Nationale d'Administration (Nelson Mandela Class, 2001). A senior judge at the French Administrative Supreme Court, she has served as assessor in the Second Chamber of the Litigation Division since 2017.
