Juliette Théry-Schultz has been appointed Deputy General Rapporteur at the Autorité de la concurrence
Juliette Théry-Schultz has been named Deputy General Rapporteur upon decision of the General Rapporteur, Virginie Beaumeunier. She will head the Antitrust Unit 4 and will replace Carole Champalaune, who is now Director of Civil Affairs at the Ministry of Justice. The Autorité de la concurrence expresses its thanks to the latter for all of her work.
Juliette Théry-Schultz is a Doctor of Laws specialising in civil contract law and she holds a Professional Lawyer’s Certificate (CAPA). Between 2004 and 2007, she was an Editor in the Department of Civil Affairs at the Ministry of Justice. She subsequently joined the erstwhile Conseil de la concurrence (that became the Autorité de la concurrence) as a Legal Adviser, working in the Legal Service, before becoming a Case Officer in February 2010. She has also been a lecturer in competition law at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. Since 2011, she has been national expert on secondment at the Directorate General for Competition (DG COMP) of the European Commission.
Juliette Théry-Schultz will take up her post on 15 September.
