Charles Bertin appointed deputy head of the Mergers Unit

  Charles Bertin has been appointed deputy head of the Mergers Unit.
He holds a PhD in Economics. In March 2009, he joined the Autorité as a case officer. In his position within the Mergers Unit, he has focused on antitrust issues facing the media, transport and telecoms sectors


Under the authority of Simon Genevaz, Head of the Mergers Unit, he will coordinate, alongside Gwenaëlle Nouët, the case officers teams dedicated to merger examinations. He takes over from Anne Yvrande-Billon, who has been appointed Vice-President of the French Regulatory Authority of Rail Activities (Autorité de regulation des activités ferroviaires, ARAF). The Autorité de la concurrence expresses its thanks to Anne Yvrande-Billon for all her work and wishes her full success in her new missions.
