Mathias Pigeat appointed Chief of Staff of the President of the Autorité de la concurrence.


Mathias Pigeat was recently appointed Chief of Staff of the President of the Autorité de la concurrence by decision of Isabelle de Silva. The Office of the President handles relations with public authorities and European institutions, as well as with international partners.

Mathias Pigeat replaces David Viros, who joined the General Court of the European Union (EGC) as a legal secretary.
Isabelle de Silva and the entire staff would like to express their most sincere thanks for the quality of the work he accomplished and wishes him every success in his future assignments.
 


Holder of a Research Master’s degree in Public Affairs / Economics (2007) from University Panthéon Sorbonne Paris 1 and an Advance Master (Mastère spécialisé) in Law and International (2009) obtained at HEC Paris, Mathias Pigeat also obtained a Professional Lawyer’s Certificate (Certificat d’aptitude à la profession d’avocat – CAPA) in 2011. After practising several years as a lawyer, he joined the Autorité in January 2016 as an advisor for European affairs in the service of the President.
