Election of Benoît Cœuré as a member of the Bureau of the OECD Competition Committee
On 30 November 2022, Benoît Cœuré, President of the Autorité de la concurrence, was elected member of the Bureau of the OECD Competition Committee.
The Autorité is pleased to sit for the first time within the Bureau which, under the chairmanship of Frédéric Jenny, provides a steering and impetus role regarding the topics covered by the OECD Competition Committee.
OECD work and initiatives relating to competition law and policy are conducted within this Committee. Competition experts from all member and partner countries discuss their activities in the fight against anticompetitive practices, present the ongoing reforms of the regulatory environment to offer fairer competition conditions, and discuss challenges that economic developments pose to competition regulation.
